Who is a testator?

Anyone who creates a will for himself or herself is a testator.

In general, you must be:

• At least 18 years of age
• Of “sound mind” or mentally competent

There are several options you can select from to have Executor Services assist with your estate.

Executor Services can:

• Serve as the “Named” Executor in your will.
• Serve as a “Named” Co-Executor in your will.
• Serve in a support role for overwhelmed, time-limited, or out-of-state executors.
• Provide full settlement to customized estate services.
• Serve as the Executor for estates that don’t have someone to appoint or wish to have an independent 3rdparty serve in that capacity.

Our team came together after each going through this process finding a lack of resources & difficult tasks like collecting documents and dealing with beneficiary disputes. We found limited outside resources and assistance other than the much-needed legal advice from the estate attorney. We knew there was a need and collectively devised a better plan for the executor, so they are prepared to handle and have support in completing their more than 150 tasks.

ES will continuously monitor the position of your estate while developing and tracking milestones. The estate's progress will be provided to the executor in detailed reports.    

• Develop Custom Timeline and Milestones for your Estate 

An experienced estate account representative will assist the executor in identifying and locating the decedent's assets. Once the assets are identified our expert team will provide the executor with vetted vendors to value physical assets such as real estate, vehicles, jewelry, art, etc.     

Executor Services will also help identify the decedent's credit accounts and web presence so that these accounts can be closed. Closing these accounts greatly reduces the risk of possible identity theft.

Each month Executor Services will evaluate the position of the decedent's estate. The executor will be provided with a report including a detailed summary of the month's authorizations, transactions, milestones, outstanding actions and more!

We understand that named executors may not have the extensive time that is required to research and contact agencies and businesses like the social security administration, credit bureaus, utility companies, vendors and social media companies.  For this reason, ES maintains a repository of vetted vendors to assist in tasks like appraisals, auctions, clean-outs etc.
